Purpose:
(a) At OzSpy Security Solutions, our purpose is to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, contractors, visitors, and clients. This Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policy outlines our commitment to preventing workplace injuries, illnesses, and accidents, and ensuring compliance with relevant WHS legislation and standards. -
Scope:
(a) This policy applies to all employees, contractors, visitors, and clients of OzSpy Security Solutions, regardless of their role or location. It covers all areas of operation, including offices, warehouses, retail stores, and work conducted off-site. -
Responsibilities:
3.1 Management:
(a) Demonstrate leadership by promoting a positive WHS culture and providing necessary resources to maintain a safe work environment.
(b) Develop, implement, and regularly review WHS procedures, practices, and guidelines to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
3.2 Employees and Contractors:
(a) Comply with all WHS policies, procedures, and guidelines applicable to their work activities.
(b) Report all hazards, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions to their immediate supervisor or relevant authority.

Risk Management:
(a) Identify and assess workplace hazards, including physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, and psychosocial factors.
(b) Implement control measures to eliminate or minimize identified hazards and risks. -
Incident Reporting and Investigation:
(a) All incidents, injuries, near misses, and hazardous occurrences must be reported immediately to the supervisor or designated authority.
(b) Investigate all incidents and near misses promptly to determine their causes and contributing factors. -
Emergency Preparedness:
(a) Develop and implement emergency response plans to effectively manage workplace emergencies, such as fires, natural disasters, and medical emergencies.
(b) Conduct regular emergency drills and provide appropriate training to employees and contractors. -
Consultation and Communication:
(a) Establish effective communication channels to inform employees and contractors about WHS policies, procedures, and changes.
(b) Consult and involve employees and contractors in the development and review of WHS policies, procedures, and risk management strategies. -
Compliance and Review:
(a) Comply with all relevant WHS legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and industry standards.
(b) Regularly review and update this WHS policy to reflect changes in legislation, industry best practices, and organizational requirements.
