At OzSpy Security Solutions, we are dedicated to providing our customers with top-quality security products and ensuring their satisfaction. This warranty policy serves as a guide to outline the terms and conditions of our warranty coverage for CCTV equipment and spy equipment. We believe in the reliability and longevity of our products, and this policy highlights the steps we take to protect our customers from manufacturing defects and failures. By familiarizing yourself with this policy, you will gain a clear understanding of the warranty coverage, limitations, claim process, and our commitment to delivering exceptional security solutions. At OzSpy, we prioritize your peace of mind, and we strive to uphold our promise of superior service and product reliability.

  1. Warranty Coverage:
    (a) CCTV Equipment:
    We provide a warranty period of 3 years from the date of purchase for all CCTV equipment, including cameras and recorders. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and failures under normal usage conditions. 
    (b) Everything Else:
    We provide a warranty period of 12 months from the date of purchase for all other equipment, including covert cameras, listening devices, and tracking devices. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and failures under normal usage conditions.
  2. Warranty Limitations:
    (a) Physical Damage:
    This warranty does not cover any physical damage caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, or unauthorised modification or repair of the product.
    (b) Water Damage:
    This warranty does not cover any damage caused by exposure to water or other liquids. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the products are not subjected to water or moisture, except for products explicitly designed for outdoor or waterproof use.

    (c) Internal Damage due to Wrong Power:
    This warranty does not cover any damage caused by power surges or using the wrong power source or voltage input. It is essential to adhere to the specified power requirements for each product.
    (d) Third Part Infrastructure:
    This warranty does not cover third party IT infrastructure including Telco Systems, Apps, Push Notifications, and any other third party that is not under the direct control of OzSpy.
  3. Warranty Claims:
    (a) To make a warranty claim, the customer must provide a valid proof of purchase, including the date and place of purchase.
    (b) The customer must return the product to the place of purchase. All purchases from stores must be returned to the place of purchase.

    (c) The customer must notify OzSpy Security Solutions of any warranty claim within the warranty period.
    (d) For Franchisees and Online customers, notification can be made only by completing our warranty form Contact Support (ozspy.com.au) .

    (e) Upon receiving a valid warranty claim, OzSpy Security Solutions will, at its discretion, either repair or replace the defective product or part free of charge. If the product has a major defect, we may refund your item or offer a replacement.
    (f) If a repair or replacement is not feasible, OzSpy Security Solutions may provide a refund, an equivalent or upgraded product.
  4. Exclusions:
    (a) This warranty policy does not cover any third-party components, including but not limited to telco services, data services, mobile applications, or any other part or service not directly controlled by OzSpy Security Solutions.
    (b) OzSpy Security Solutions is not responsible for the functionality, compatibility, or performance of any third-party components that may be used in conjunction with our products.
    (c) Any claims related to third-party components should be directed to the respective manufacturer or service provider, and their terms and conditions will apply.
  5. Warranty Transferability:
    (a) This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the product.
  6. General Terms:
    (a) OzSpy Security Solutions reserves the right to modify or terminate this warranty policy at any time without prior notice.
    (b) Any disputes arising from this warranty policy will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of QLD Australia.
    (c) If any of these conditions go against state or federal law, state or federal law will be complied with.
