OzSpy is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all individuals associated with our operations. We firmly uphold a zero tolerance policy regarding abuse, racism, and harassment. This policy applies to employees, franchisees, contractors, clients, suppliers, and all other parties involved in our organisation. We are committed to maintaining a workplace free from any form of mistreatment or discrimination, and we actively strive to promote a culture of respect and dignity. This policy outlines our unequivocal stance against abuse, racism, and harassment, and the measures we will take to address any violations promptly and effectively.

  1. Policy Statement
    (a) Our organisation is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all employees, contractors, visitors, and customers. We have zero tolerance for any form of abuse, racism, or harassment. This policy applies to all individuals associated with our organisation, including but not limited to employees, contractors, clients, suppliers, and third parties.

  2. Definitions
    (a) Abuse: Any physical, verbal, emotional, or psychological mistreatment, coercion, or harm inflicted on an individual.
    (b) Racism: Any act, comment, or behavior that discriminates against or marginalises individuals based on their race, ethnicity, nationality, or related characteristics.
    (c) Harassment: Any unwelcome conduct, including but not limited to verbal, written, or physical actions, based on an individual's protected characteristics (such as race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, etc.) that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment.

  3. Scope
    (a) This policy applies to all locations where our organisation operates, including but not limited to offices, job sites, client premises, events, meetings, social gatherings, and online platforms related to work activities.

  4. Prohibited Conduct
    (a) Any act of abuse, racism, or harassment is strictly prohibited. Examples of prohibited conduct include, but are not limited to:

    1. Verbal or written abuse, including offensive jokes, slurs, derogatory comments, or threats.
    2. Dishonest accusations against the company, employees and agents.
    3. Physical abuse, assault, or violence against individuals.
    4. Discrimination or harassment based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
    5. Cyberbullying, online harassment, or the use of offensive or discriminatory language in digital communications.
    6. Abusive, innacurate, and dishonest reviews with the intent to hurt individuals or the company.
    7. Retaliation against individuals who report abuse, racism, or harassment.

  5. Reporting and Investigation
    (a) Any individual who experiences, witnesses, or becomes aware of any act of abuse, racism, or harassment must promptly report it to their immediate supervisor, or any designated authority.
    (b) All reports will be treated confidentially and investigated promptly, thoroughly, and impartially.
    (c) The organisation will take appropriate corrective actions against individuals found responsible for abuse, racism, or harassment, which may include disciplinary measures up to and including termination of employment or contract.

  6. Non-Retaliation
    (a) The organisation strictly prohibits retaliation against any individual who reports, participates in an investigation, or assists in the resolution of a complaint related to abuse, racism, or harassment.
    (b) Any form of retaliation will be treated as a separate violation of this policy and subject to disciplinary action.

  7. Consequences
    (a) Violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or contract.
    (b) In the case of installation clients violating this policy, OzSpy representatives will no longer attend site, and any onsite warranty will convert to back to base warranty.
    (c) In the case of online customers violating this policy, phone support will not be available and any written communications will not be responded to that contains abusive content.
    (d) In extreme cases we reserve the right to blacklist anyone violating this policy and no longer assist them.
    (e) The organisation reserves the right to take legal action when appropriate.

  8. Other Measures
    (a) In addition to the disciplinary actions outlined in this policy, the organisation may implement other measures to prevent abuse, racism, or harassment, such as awareness training, education programs, and regular policy reviews.

  9. Site Access and Warranty
    (a) Any individual found in violation of this policy may be denied access to our organisation's onsite support and warranty.
    (b) If the violation is committed by a contractor or supplier, their service agreement may be suspended until the matter is resolved.

  10. Conclusion
    (a) Our organisation is committed to fostering a culture of respect, diversity, and inclusion. We encourage open communication and proactive efforts to prevent and address abuse, racism, and harassment.
